Lyla’s Choice Pink Flowers collection

My beautiful niece Lyla is two years old – or rather, as she likes to remind me, very nearly three. She has an iron will and delicious charm in equal measure, and we all do as Lyla commands.

When I showed her my pottery, she took a particular liking to the Blue Flowers collection and the tale of her Great-great Auntie Lil’s coffee pot and roly-poly dog.

She gazed appraisingly at the pieces for a while with her impossibly round blue eyes, then pronounced:
'Pink. Better in pink – like my dress.'

So I did as I was told.
