I’m Fenella Smith, and I love to make beautiful, well-made, home-grown objects that make daily life that little bit more delightful.

Each of my tableware collections was inspired by a memory, so each has a tale to tell, be it of innocent childhood pleasures or a drawerful of dreams.

There’s a dresser in my kitchen that was made by my Grandpa Will during the Second World War. I found it in my parents’ loft, painted it and filled it with china I had bought or been given over the years. The reason I had so many mugs, tea cups and jugs, I realised, was that I hadn’t yet found any to fall truly in love with. The obvious answer was to create my own…

Made in Stoke-on-Trent from best Cornish clay, my strong, slip-cast tableware combines good old-fashioned quality with modern practicality. It’s also irresistibly collectable.
